Daley- Spectrum Album Review/Opinions

My experience with Daley like most I’m sure was back in 20110 seeing the music video for Gorillaz new single Doncamatic. When I first heard that song I was so put off by it telling people man it just wasn’t Gorillaz. The in 2016 I came across Doncamatic again, And man was a dumb little kid or what that song is great I swear I listened to that song non stop for a week or two. I don’t know why, but it dawned on me this year why don’t I check what Daley has put out himself so I gave his latest album a chance surely I will love it I mean  Doncamatic is amazing I’m in for a treat.

okay so it was naive of me to think spectrum was going to be a whole album like Doncamatic I mean half if not most of that song was thanks to Damon Albarn. that being said doesn’t mean I don’t like Spectrum on the contrary this album was a treat I actually really enjoyed this album quite a bit, People who know me well know that I’m not a big fan of slower songs especially these days (I need to write an article explaining why, but for another time.) A good percent of this album is slower songs, and for the most part I’m fine with them except for maybe one or two. in my opinion Spectrum is in the same vein as a Ne-Yo or Justin Bieber album now a days Justin Bieber sorry I didn’t mean to startle you Smooth beats, and soulful vocals I guess is what I’m getting at.

So all in all yeah I really enjoyed this album I went a little out of my comfort zone, and was rewarded with a artiest I’m going to start keeping my eye on a bit closer I don’t think I’ll let six years go by again till I check, and see what he’s up to. well unless for some reason he doesn’t put something out for another six years.

Incubus 8 Album Review/Opinions

So let me start off by saying who the heck knew that Incubus was still making music I certainly didn’t is it a earth shattering revelation, or was it a unwanted reminder. over all I would have to say it was a pleasant surprise I’ve never been a huge fan of Incubus of course there is song I really enjoy by them, but I can’t say Iv’e ever listened to a whole album of theirs. 8 is a good album, but it doesn’t really do anything that new it sounds like an Incubus album so much so that if this album was released back when these guys were at their peak popularity I feel it would definitely done amazing. so with these album reviews/opinions I’m going to do it like this write a little about the album the list off the songs from what I think is the strongest track to the weakest.

New Year New Beginnings

So its a new year, and I thought that I would start it off right. My resolution is to improve in every way I can, So i actually want to start, and finish a lot of the projects Iv’e been meaning to. the first thing is write more. to do this I’m going to start off small by writing album reviews well give my opinions on albums, and from there work my way up to short stories stuff like that. I know one actually cares about my opinions on music, or anything I write really, but I genuinely like writing so its really for myself, and if someone does end up liking it great!

In my profile I say I’m a self proclaimed  musician, and some people actually tell me I am ( they’re just being super nice of course haha!!!…. )  I’ve been writing lyrics, and melodies for years sometimes they even come together to make a song this year however, I’m really going to buckle down, and complete songs hopefully resulting in an album. Iv’e been promising this to various people for a long time now, but my lack of confidants always gets in the way NO MORE!!! A new year, and fresh beginnings will change that.

The last project I want to talk about will be a little bit harder for me, and might take a little longer to get going. Also in my profile it says proclaimed nerd which couldn’t be more true I love a lot of nerdy thing; video games, comics, anime, etc. Awhile back I had a anime podcast called Konheads with my brother due to personal reasons we had to stop the podcast. I’ve missed our show threw the time off even more so after recent months being on a couple of episodes of my friend’s podcast the triple O show I would put a link, but I haven’t asked his permission so maybe next time, but that being said I want to start Konheads back up, however I don’t really want to limit it to just anime because like I said I like a lot of nerdy things so we’ll see what happens.

well if you happen to read this thank you for reading me rant on about stuff I plan to do this upcoming year I hope I produce half of what I said. I know I should say all of it, but I don’t want to promise to much till I get every thing worked out, and organized.

Beyond The Boundary review

I went in not knowing anything about this anime nor did I hear anybody talk about it, no hype about it whatsoever, which in my opinion is the best way to go in to anything. it originally aired in 2013 by studio Kyoto Animation ( the studio that brought you K-on! another great anime I’ll have to review). The first thing I would like to say is how incredible this anime looks the art, and the animation is top notch, the fight scenes are some of the best I have ever seen, the character designs are great too especially Kuriyama she is adorable.

the one thing about this anime is that it reminds me of a lot of other anime, I of course don’t know if they did it on purpose or if they were even aware of it, but there was a scene in one of the episodes that was very reminiscent of a scene from bleach, also the whole manipulation of blood like deadman wonderland, and i’m sure deadman wonderland wasn’t the first to do that there was other examples but I won’t go into them. I’m not putting down BYB for any of those reasons in fact I think that’s why I liked it so much because it was almost familiar.

I don’t even think I can tell you why I liked this anime so much? there was character development, but it wasn’t anything new and you could see the direction it was going in that normally turns me off to a show, but they did so well at making you care for these people. the most interesting character in the show was Akihito Kanbara’s mother they left this air of mystery to her that I liked.

Like I said earlier about the visual I could recommend this show just because of them. the fight scenes are great the animation is amazing anyone who knows me knows I’m a sucker for action, and I would say BYB has a great balance, not just a balance of action, and non-action, but romance, and comedy as well.

I said I didn’t think I could give you a good reason of why I liked this show, and I don’t think I did. I guess it was that familiar feeling it gave me, all I could tell you is please give it a try

I like this chapter it’s a lot more exciting and intriguing than the last couple of chapters, and I feel this is the formula that this manga is going to stick to have a couple goofy chapters were it doesn’t  help progress the main story that much and then a couple chapters where it does kind of like the Inuyasha anime, but all in all I liked it I’m going to give this one a…

Itsuwaribito review: Vol 1; Chapter 4

This chapter picks up where the last one left off with Utsuho about to take part in the lying game. there isn’t much to this chapter it plays out like the scene from the princess bride with the poison in the cup. not to say this is a bad chapter by any means, there is a lot of comedy and suspense in this chapter you also get to see Utsuho show more of his skills as a Itsuwaribito. I feel a little bad that this review isn’t longer there just isn’t much to review so I give this chapter a ….
