Daley- Spectrum Album Review/Opinions

My experience with Daley like most I’m sure was back in 20110 seeing the music video for Gorillaz new single Doncamatic. When I first heard that song I was so put off by it telling people man it just wasn’t Gorillaz. The in 2016 I came across Doncamatic again, And man was a dumb little kid or what that song is great I swear I listened to that song non stop for a week or two. I don’t know why, but it dawned on me this year why don’t I check what Daley has put out himself so I gave his latest album a chance surely I will love it I meanĀ  Doncamatic is amazing I’m in for a treat.

okay so it was naive of me to think spectrum was going to be a whole album like Doncamatic I mean half if not most of that song was thanks to Damon Albarn. that being said doesn’t mean I don’t like Spectrum on the contrary this album was a treat I actually really enjoyed this album quite a bit, People who know me well know that I’m not a big fan of slower songs especially these days (I need to write an article explaining why, but for another time.) A good percent of this album is slower songs, and for the most part I’m fine with them except for maybe one or two. in my opinion Spectrum is in the same vein as a Ne-Yo or Justin Bieber album now a days Justin Bieber sorry I didn’t mean to startle you Smooth beats, and soulful vocals I guess is what I’m getting at.

So all in all yeah I really enjoyed this album I went a little out of my comfort zone, and was rewarded with a artiest I’m going to start keeping my eye on a bit closer I don’t think I’ll let six years go by again till I check, and see what he’s up to. well unless for some reason he doesn’t put something out for another six years.

Incubus 8 Album Review/Opinions

So let me start off by saying who the heck knew that Incubus was still making music I certainly didn’t is it a earth shattering revelation, or was it a unwanted reminder. over all I would have to say it was a pleasant surprise I’ve never been a huge fan of Incubus of course there is song I really enjoy by them, but I can’t say Iv’e ever listened to a whole album of theirs. 8 is a good album, but it doesn’t really do anything that new it sounds like an Incubus album so much so that if this album was released back when these guys were at their peak popularity I feel it would definitely done amazing. so with these album reviews/opinions I’m going to do it like this write a little about the album the list off the songs from what I think is the strongest track to the weakest.
